Church of Madonna di Campagna in Verbania

A Renaissance church with an octagonal loggia tiburium, designed in the first half of the 16th century by Giovanni Beretta da Brissago. It was built on the site of a pre-existing Romanesque building of which only the bell tower, subsequently raised, remains. The façade is gabled, made of local serizzo stone, with a central rose window. The portal is decorated with carved panels in Renaissance style. The interior, divided into three naves, features frescoes from the late 16th century.
