Novara: splendid setting for a fairytale wedding

The Novara area, between the Sesia and Ticino rivers, boasts a very rich cultural heritage. It features the impressive Cupola Antonelliana (Antonelli’s dome) in the main city, along with the many jewels of art and architecture spread around the spring pools of the Bassa rice fields in the Novara province area. The smooth Novara hills are covered with vineyards, parks and natural oases to be discovered all year round.

The Castello Visconteo-Sforzesco, the Broletto Monumental Complex as well as the Cathedral and St. Gaudentius’ Basilica are splendid settings for a fairy-tale wedding in Novara. In the province area surrounding Novara, among others, it is worth mentioning the Castello Visconteo-Sforzesco of Galliate, the castelli-ricetti (fortified castles), the small country oratories, the ancient Romanesque parish churches and the grandiose projects by Alessandro Antonelli such as the Santuario di Boca (Boca Sanctuary) and the Villa Caccia in Romagnano Sesia.

The food and wine heritage, hallmark of the local tradition, springs from the passion and experience that has its roots in a past peasant world, combining craftsmanship and modern technology.
